The high grade aluminum housing holds up to four SATA HDD, the installation is completely tool-less. The fast interfaces (eSATA, USB 3.0) provide high performances with PC and MAC.
Thanks to the thermal controlled fan, the IB-3640SU3's operation is silent and the HDD are optimally cooled. The JBOD system features a energy saving sleep mode as well.

Quality product, very compact, easy to set up, solid internals and works straight off the bat.
Has 3 different fan speeds, pretty quite and also has easily read LED lights to know what functions have been set.
Great Hard Drive storage option 4 hot swappable bays with either USB 3 or eSata connection with JBOD option only which is exactly what I wanted, German design made in Taiwan with no HD size restriction(s)
